Driving Directions:

FROM THE NORTH:

  • Take I-95 SOUTH
  • Take EXIT 1A (The last exit before I-95 stops and becomes South Dixie Highway.)  Look for brown highway recreation signage referring to Key Biscayne, Rickenbacker Causeway, Beaches, Miami Seaquarium and State Parks, etc.
  • Continue through 2 more lighted intersections to the Rickenbacker Causeway and Toll Plaza.  There will be a Causeway Toll.  You are now on the Rickenbacker Causeway!

 FROM THE SOUTH:

  • Take US – 1 North
  • Take the US – 1 North ramp toward Brickell Avenue
  • Unnamed road becomes US – 1 North
  • Turn Right on Rickenbacker Causeway and Toll Plaza.  There will be a Causeway Toll.  You are now on the Rickenbacker Causeway!

Once Thru the Causeway Toll:

  • You will go over 2 bridges.
  • You are now on Crandon Boulevard and need to be in the left lane.   
  • Continue on the Boulevard about ¼ mile.  On your left side directly across from the Golf Course is a green/white sign that reads Crandon Park NORTH BEACH.
  •  Make a Left Turn into Crandon Park Entrance and Parking Lot #2. Follow the road around the ball field to the north end of the parking lot to the Nature Center.  You will see a covered portico with a sidewalk leading to the 2-story Nature Center (silver roof).   

 

Metrorail Directions:

 

From Dadeland Station:

Take the Dadeland North Station train Northbound.

Arrive at Brickell Station.

Depart Brickell Station at SW 1 Avenue (Eastside)

Take the route B bus headed to Cape Florida State Park.

At the Crandon Park stop (Golf Course), get off the bus and walk across Crandon Blvd to the North Beach Entrance gate.

 

From Government Center:

Take 81 Metrorail Southbound to Brickell Station.
Depart Brickell Station at SW 1 Avenue (Eastside).
Take the route B bus headed to Cape Florida State Park.
At the Crandon Park stop (Golf Course), get off the bus and walk across Crandon Blvd to the North Beach Entrance gate.
